Hey there, I tried the tool on domain-pop.com and did the IP evaluation. I noticed one of the sites linking to me had a subnet duplicate IP address. What does this mean and how does it effect SEO? Thanks for any advice. Sincerely, Travis Walters
Hey there, I am guessing this is a bad thing to have. I do not understand why my client has a similar IP than me. We have two different hosting solutions. Nevertheless, I am still looking for some clarification. Sincerely, Travis Walters
Anybody can be a host. Seems two host bought server space from the same provider and you & your client now are on the same server just different IP addresses. As Disney said it best. "it's a small world after all"
I wouldn't sweat it too much. The worst case scenario is that the link isn't passing ANY value, but if it is a relevant page and a respectable site then I wouldn't worry about it.
Hey there, The interesting thing is one host is crystaltech.com and the other is dailyrazor.com. Out of curiousity, is a class C duplicate IP address and a subnet duplicate IP address the same thing? If not, which one is worse for SEO? I am going to try to stay away from both, but I'm just curious I was actually considering transferring my domains to dailyrazor because they offer a lot more space compared to crystaltech, but I love crystaltech's support. In the long run, I will probably end up on a dedicated server. How does switching hosts that have the same class C or subnet IP address effect SEO? I heard somewhere that switching hosts is a bad idea. Anybody have any experience with this? I am not totally sure what I am going to do yet Sincerely, Travis Walters
