Website went from 60k daily uniques to 0 daily uniques!!!! HELP

thankyou techpr. adding the site to google webmaster now. does it include a link in there where i can request to re-enter my site in google index? if only i knew what google saw wrong on the site

 

Inside the Webmaster Tools Dashboard there is a link called Request reconsideration

 

nope, i cant find "request reconsideration" in the tools dashboard. i see 6 links/options on that page but that isnt one of them. thanks again for all the help

i think it's a duplicate content issues and use the link above to ask for a re inclusion by Google, they are responding all the times.

 

how long do they usually take to respond? do they email u back telling u if they will reinclude it or not? do they reinclude it most of the time or do they reject most of the times? i took off the tags and i put in a request. maybe that was the reason. u think a new template will help? thanks

Before you start requesting any reviews or reconsideration
i would suggest that you do some Major changes to your site...

It may help if you remove the google adsence or the ASK.com Banners
being they are each others competition ....

The Blog is as scraped as scraped can get and im guessing your very "banned"
and they probably wont be letting you back till those changes and others are made...

Now, that was some huge traffic. I am not sure why google de-indexed yours as there are lots of video sites available. Maybe cos its an automated site grabbing content from others at a fast rate. How about adding some content, removing some ad blocks and then sending some re-inclusion request.

 

I found "pefs.us" search turns nearly 1 million web results. So, maybe they banned, because they think you are spamming your links? I noticed several articles wrote and placed on "link" farm type of blogs linking back to the site.

Also, you could be in the sandbox: "Created: 2007-04-08"..

 

I think that this might be an actual manual ban, just someone has personally removed you.
Because technically, the YouTube API does not limit developers in terms of content pulled, and there are plenty of automated sites that provide an alternative YouTube interface using that exact API (XML-RPC)

 

You completely ripped off youtube's content. How did you expect not to get banned at google?

 

It is not the problem - YouTube provides a special XML-RPC based API exactly for these kind of sites. I think there is something else.

 

Considering the site was created on 2007-04-08 and has 400,000 pages I would imagine it would be flagged as potential spam. While YouTube may not limit the amount of content pulled from the site it doesn't mean Google wont penalise the site for duplicate content, and no matter what you say the whole site is blatantly scraping youtube.

At the end of the day it is a made for adsense site and probably auto generates its content so I have no sympathy for you. Though I probably would be jealous of the adsense earnings you have received the past few months considering the lack of work needed to get it.

In terms of using adsense with other adverts I don't think its a problem as long as the adsense adverts are the only contextual adverts on the site. So banner adverts etc should be ok.

 

I second what computer(jew) said. Youtube wants you to link to their videos, and there tons of sites like this. You should contact them and ask them what you did wrong. Perhaps you can write a short description under each video and put an article section on the site, then resubmit your site. I give you credit for building up this site with so little content (no offense) to 11,000 on alexa. I saw you're ranked 6,000 for the week - that's unbelievable

 

one banned site by google sitll using the Adsense on it, does that have any threat to the adsense account?

 

the pefs.us domain was registered on 08-Apr-07, so ask yourselves, how did he get so much traffic in so little time, with nothing more than a crappy youtube scraping site.

figure that out, and you'll have your answer to why he got de-indexed.

 

Your story is very hard to swallow especially since your domain is so recent. I think it takes more than a few months to create a site that receives 60k visitors per day.

 

Ouch, That sucks. I only get like maybe 10 visits. Ha Ha I'm a Noob, I know.
