    Hello,

I have a couple of questions about Virtual Desktops and I thought that you could help me out here :)

First of all I’m using Win XP not Linux or anything like that (imho Linux has better options, on this problem of mine, than windows.. e.g. Beryl & Compiz are top!) and my questions are which is/are the best software, in your opinion always, to use to create some virtual desktops (I don't think I need more than 4..) and is there any option, on any of those softwares, to save it?.. I mean like I create 3 virtual desktops, 1 for work, 1 for gaming and 1 for general use, can I save those desktops I created so the next time I start my pc have them once again there waiting for me? :p

I'm really sorry if my questions are stupid but I have no idea really lol

    Thanks,
    NwS

PS: Excuse my English too I’m really tired atm -.-

It saves your session, you have to enable it in control panel > power management.

Is he wanting different user profiles? You can have one user for each one of those things, and have different things on the desktop.
