I have a really great application, but I need some help with the registration system of the program. I don't need anything super fancy, but good enough to keep most people from cracking/sharing. Anyone interested in helping? I know its a long shot. Judd
Hello Judd, What kind of help you are looking for. I'd suggest you to use a new form for this purpose and store the registration codes in registry. Create a new unique machine ID when your application is run for the first time and make an algorithm that creates the registrtion key for that machine ID. Let me know if you need more help. I'd 'outsource' it. Look at something like Dreamkey at fingoo.net. They basically give you a library that manages all of the registration and online activation stuff. You pay them around 3% of the license cost for each license/installation key that you create then their code manages the rest. They're not the only group that do this, but they were the first to come to mind.
