It's very well done. I applaud you on taking the time to make this to send to your subscribers. I like how simple (in a good way) the layout is. This makes it easy to read. It was also nice that you kept the layout consistent for each section. The 'get to know' section at the end is a cool feature too. On another note, I cannot believe that your blog has like no ads! That's amazing, I don't know if that is intentional or if you are waiting to set up a system, but I'm sure your loyal readers appreciate it. Cheers
Hey thanks for some very, very positive feedback. I wanted to make the first issue very simple and that's why the layout is very minimalist (just like my blog as well!!), but yeah, I'm hoping it will link well with my subscribers. As for the ads, there's no doubt that there is some intention to make money off my blog. I'm not really getting enough traffic to do so, and I want to stay clear of Google Adsense, so the only ads I have right now are for Arseshirts. That's why they're the sponsors of the ezine as well. I only want to be affiliated with HIGH QUALITY, RELATED products and that is why I won' try and sell any old thing. I'm more concerned about visitors and subscribers than making money. That can come later. But yes, I put a lot of effort into the blog after work hours
