I wanna start a youtube like wordpress blog and also get videos from youtube and other video sites for embeding. I want that my post show only video image instead of embeded video and when anyone click on video title then my blog open the single page and user show embeded video and anyone can play video now. Plz tell me how to do this ? is there any wordpress plugin, i know i can embed videos directly by getting code and pasting in my post but as u know i want that post show only video image instead embeded video and when he click on video title then he play video.
don't you just video yourself, put it as a .avi and stream it or make it into flash and put it up. then just blog about the stuff that goes on in the video?
well, you can capture the screenshot picture and put that in your original post and just link the image to the original video source page. I hope this will work for you...for the moment.
When i embed google videos in my blog then it didnt need to put the original link. Thanks all guys for replying but i am waiting for real help as i want...

I think that's a photo script called (Nishita) search for it ("WordPress Photo Blogging") you will have it, Download there Black themes, Install the FLV Plugin and the Black photo blogging plugin of WP and have funn... I am not sure what he used, maybe something else but both looks same!
Oh my friend it's a trick , sorry it's like one of those things you find that you wanna keep to yourself, I like the template - the dude did have a image at bottom for his efforts for making it - but the bugger kept saying domain is banned from picture host for hotlinking so I had to remove it.

Thanks all guys again for help but i think we didnt have final result as i want to put in any wordpress template. I also have a solution to hide main embeded video, as you know just attach video image first then put <more> code and then put embeded video code, its done, now on main pages it only show video image instead video and when anyone click on read more.. or click on title he will see video, but at single video page first it will show video image and then video, now how to get ride of image on single video page ?
@SHFAQ did you look at my sample ? is that what you wanted ? I'm confused now, that is a wordpress Blog and Template (that I have supplied above).
Dear you have image gallery while i am asking for video bloging, however it is same as first page it show only video image and when we click on image it show only that image video like in your site when we click on any image thumb it show its full image but it shows full image in standalone page instead blog environment i mean blog header, footer sidebar etc...
