Don't forget about Myspace Marketing. I through up new sites every other day and get 100+ uniques from a bulletin or two ( don't forget to ask from people to repost - yea it actually works)

Blog posting or blog networking as I may call it is indeed good at maintaining readership but provided that you really have very juicy and good content and that you are leaving you post a chance to be concentrated in the keywords that you are targeting.
