Hi, we all know that landing pages really help to increase sells, especially when used with Adwords. But if i write articles about wow, in the resource box i write something like: Want to know how to level 70 your character bla bla bla... So, do i need a landing page in this case? I think that people have read my article, they already know some tips and tricks, and they already know what will they found on my website. So article is a kind of landing page =) What do you think?

PC. I hope you understand me. I do my best to improve my language skills :)

You would still need a landing page.
It's been proven that having your own landing page will increase your sales.

Most article directories do not allow you to put affiliate links in your articles. Thus, you have to create a landing page on a top-level domain for your articles to be accepted.

You can find artilcle directories that allow affiliate links, but they are typically second-tier directories.

There is an advantage if you create a landing page and direct the traffic through there. You can also have them opt in to your newsletter or email list, and even though they wont buy the product right away you can email them and get them to buy from you in the future.

SEO world is right. I was always sending them direct to the sales page. But now i am sending them to a squeeze page and asked them to sign-up for a newsletter and let them opt-in. At least you have them on your list and even they dont buy anything in the future you can send them some offers.

I have created an Info domain which forwards visitors to a sales page. I will try using landing pages in some articles, and my Info domains in other articles as well. The problem is, that i am losing 10% of the visitors on my landing pages. They visit my link in a Resource Box, but they don't click on my affiliate link in the landing page.

I too agree with that. It may be due to the feeling of over selling. But i'm not sure of that.

Yes, this is a real problem. What I do sometimes is this: post the link to the lading page in the resource box and once the article has been accepted use the .htaccess redirect to send the visitors directly to the vendor's page. It is cheating.... but works well. Cheers.
