Can muslims be honest with themselves?

This terror emanates from the Quran. That's why so many muslims resort to violence. You don’t want to accept it since you have to abandon your old beliefs and will be ridiculed as a weak person by other muslims.

(Bush is a politician not a cleric. And everyone knows the war in Iraq was totally wrong if you wanted to hear that from me.)

This is pointless argument. You will believe what the media want you to believe. Just a FYI if you are going by CNN, FOX, or any Western media you will always see the one sided news. If you do switch to Al-Jazeera, almanar, al arabia or any of those channels, you will see many palestinian women, children, elder are dieing every day from israeli attacks.

Off course there is Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq that torchered Iraqis, but never classified as a christian terror.

You probably recently heard about American government is hiring private security firms to stabilise Iraq — and paying them a fortune to do it. But many of them are unregulated and operate outside the law, killing civilians to get the job done. Is this considered a terrorist act?

O well again you believe what you want to believe.

Why in the world would it ever be classified as Christian terror?

I was trying to make a point. Any terror attack performed by a muslim individual, it will automaticaly get taged as "Islamic Terrorist" not as outlaw criminal.

Media push into this propagenda each time there is a criminal offence done by a muslim individual. Which is wrong.

Stop generalizing each muslim because there are less than 5% terrorist, criminals or w.e. There are 1.5 billion muslims in this world. if Islam teach terror, and preach about sucide killing civilians, children, women, elder... then i think this world would have already ended.

First of all I am not a Muslim and I think Islamic laws are too old and stupid for modern day, the same way that I think anybody who believes that God made a woman pregnant, so he can have a son on earth is equally stupid.

There are many local conflicts around the world, from Middle East, to south east Asia, to Africa, to Europe, to South America and even in my country Canada. When people's interest clashes and there is no possibility or interest in Compromise then the violence starts.

It is just sad, that some one like you who tries to classify himself as religious person, uses these problems to spread even more hatred and bigotry. You are not a religious person, religion is just tool for you to feed your hatred and frustration with life for what ever reason that made you such hateful person.

Muhamad was a violent person. Wars for 10 years. Even at his age 54 he mind was child sex occupied (9 year old Aisha). He was nothing better than the priest child molestors we hear about today.

Mosques are often used for spreading hatred. (You can see it after Friday prayers.)
Churches not. (If any are used they do it against Christianity).

Other people might think that it very strange that young single guy living with 12 other men? Do you think Jesus was in Homosexual group sex?

Vatican even to this day is hiding war criminals (priests, nuns) from Rwanda in different monastery in Europe.

It is funny that someone like you who believes in one stupid book, can hate and blame others for believing in another stupid book.

Some are just chickens... scared to die, but willing to cheer, celebrate and continue the teachings. How stupid do you think everyone is? Are we to believe that out of that many followers, less than 1% will even speak against the actions AND back that up with action, such as NOT giving to the groups that send out suicide bombers, etc... Actually the number that fits this is probably less than .00001%

So, what you say would be believable IF there was a large number of people NOT cheering for death, NOT teaching their children to die for alah, NOT following the koran, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of being muslim?

I agree. Some here have a huge hardon for him, bumping posts about him for the sake of bumping them. Praising 2% poll increases, etc.

Some, on the other hand, point out how RP doesn't have a clue about issues regarding national security.

What is 5% of 1.5b? Like 75,000,000 terrorists and extremists?? That's 1/4 of the entire U.S. population. Are you proud of such a stat? Are you bragging because islam only has 75,000,000 people willing to blow themselves up and kill innocent people? Nice logic, nice religion, nice outlook on the world.

Second off, if John Doe Muslim goes and robs a bank, then shoots the teller. And he was simply robbing the bank to steal the money, it's just a robbery.
However, if he goes into the bank and shoots the teller because the teller is Jewish or Christian or whatever, then my friend, that is an islamic murder.

I realize how hard it is for people to grasp this concept. But try.

Yet others will post about Ron Paul every chance they get, cut him down over and over even when a post / thread has nothing to do with him.

2% rise in polls might not be much, but the fear by the extreme right wing about him surely shows something ;)

IMHO you're making their point by putting so much emphasis on him...

Lets not generalize this. I've met several Americans who (rightly) think that America should stop militarily interfering into matters of other countries.

It must be because only high ranking military person like ex-corporal Gtech has access to national security matters and not a simple congressman like Ron Paul.:D
