    that might be something else that is making it slow...

    if you have:

    WINDOWS...over time it will drag ass...huge major drop offs in speed over time

    a fragmented hard drive, spyware, yada yada yada

    or maybe you just do a massive amount of memory intensive stuff?

    I have 512 MB on my desktop and 512 MB on my laptop too. Will increase 512 MB more in my laptop in a day or two as it has Vista as OS.
