I really need advice on something. I got this email from Aweber today and it doesn't sound good at all:

It look like someone on my list is complaining about the email I send them but I don't send spam! I don't understand why they just don't just unsubscribe or they are doing this deliberately to ruin my account.

What is going on here?

Nothing you can do, and Aweber should take care of it. It is what you paid them for. As you noted all emails come with a unsubscribe link, so your not breaking any laws or rules. Its Awebers problem.

Ps. It takes more than one users to get into AOL's spam loop. Its based on a percentage of their customers.

If you really are not spamming, can't you ask Aweber for a list of complaining emails so you can show Aweber their optin form or time stamp? You do save them, don't you?

He cant be spamming as you cant get people into Aweber without double opt.

I understand that, but based on the notice he got from Aweber, that doesn't seem to be the case. I have never used Aweber and may be ignorant of their "security measures" for fudging double opt ins, but I have used other services that "require" double opt ins, but the system could be manipulated. For instance...Vertical Response.
