I am going out today to buy one of these, must admit I have had my head totally in the sand and have no clue what the difference is or the benefits to each one...Could be the stupidest question ever, if so laugh and then answer. Ta
MP3 is a music format... MP3 players are portable devices that place this format... An iPod is Apples brand of MP3 players...
iPods aren't way cooler (although I do have 2 of them!). There are far cooler mp3 players out there. If you're after functions, get an iRiver (voice recording, radio, etc). If you're after pretty and easy, get an iPod.
Why not just go to an Apple store and get the complete "Apple experience". Those Apple Stores have got customer service down to a fine art. You almost feel like they're about to take you into the back room for something special
Not sure I want to do something special in the backroom with one of the staff!! Does it come with the price?
Ipod is a Media Player which is used to play audio, videos, podcasts and even games[I use it more as an external hdd lol ]. MP3 Players basically play audio files of MP3 format and the quality of Apple's Ipod Rockz and its worth the money !! ~ Maybe you should re-think about it as Microsoft will be soon releasing Zune2.0
Just pretend that you're interested in buying a few Mac Pros, and you'll be in the back room before you know what's hit you. You'll wake up 2 blocks away, 6 hours later, without your wallet - but it'll all be worth it
Just after music really, so maybe a mp3 player, had a look on ebay and more confused than ever, loads of letters and numbers that mean nothing to me, any suggestions on a model? Or even a BUY IT NOW on ebay that would suit my needs...Like I say I am clueless on these things.
As far as iPods go, I think the Nanos are the best buy. They're tough and cheap. If you don't want video, get a 2GB or 4GB Nano 2nd gen (they should be 'run out' cheap!). If you DO want video, get a 4GB Nano 3rd gen. You could always buy from the Apple online store. You might pay a little more, but at least you'll know you're getting what you're paying for.
In that case, you can go with an Ipod Nano and these Nano dont support videos and are cheaper than the Ipod BUT the audio quality is same. Apple is a reputed company and offers great customer support so I would say go with the Apple Ipod. At the end, its your money and your own decision
If you care about music quality, go creative zen http://www.creative.com/products/mp3/zenvisionm/ IPod sucks at sound quality. There are no bass coming out at all
Yep .. thats for sure ! .. the look-features ... and that's pretty much what everybody's lookin for right ?
