Hey guys, I ve been wondering as to which webportal is considerd to be the "HIGHEST PAYING webmaster affiliate program". The highest paying will be the one that you do well with. So in other words just because affiliate program A is the best paying program for someone, it doesn't mean it will also be the best paying for you. It depends on how you work with it, how much you work with it, etc.
There was another thread discussing how diamond affiliate programs can payout a hefty amount... but they are extremely selective in their affiliates... some of the programs in my signature pay very nice good luck

well, agreed with u there but then if a general traffic turns towards a Portal A, lets take Google Adsense as an example, 2-3 years ago ADSENSE wasnt as popular as it is manifolds today, which in turn proves the point that all newbies,proffesional and almost everyone wants to stick around with it , isnt that a general acceptance tendency here???... So then this statment, wudnt matter here regards...
I agree with john269. There is no BEST. It really depends on your site focus and traffic. The highest paying could be something like mortgage loans or travel but if you have a site focused on teens you'd never make a sale. So if you have a specific niche in mind we could possible give you better answers. I also agree with Blogspotter. One program could pay 75% commish, but if conversions are low and hardly anyone ever buys you won't make much. Another program could pay 5% but sells like hotcakes and you could earn more. Keep in mind too that GENERALLY the HIGHER the payouts, the harder the sale. And average order size plays into the mix too. Someone could buy a whole 1500 dining room set online and you could make 10% commission. But the bigger the avg order, the tougher and less frequent the sales are. (Generally, there are no absolutes.)
Poker Affiliate programs pay very well - anywhere from $75 -$500 per player. I have heard there are much higher things out there though (non-poker).
