probably cause you announced a PR update and out of everyone who has posted only you have had a change?

big call + generally no change = false alarm

    lol :D

Those ppl seems to be more enthusiastic who are not seeing any update and post so repeatedly.

"I am not seeing update on my sites" :D

Latest Summary of Google PR Update:

1.) Last week some people saw their PR drop.

2.) Last week some people didn't see any change at all.

3.) Matt Cutts said on October 1st that we probably won't see an update for another few weeks (possibly longer).

4.) Google updated their backlinks in their Google Webmaster Tools for the 3rd time in the past month or so (which has nothing to do with the PR update).

5.) This is the longest Google PR update ever.

    Thank you. Carry on...

I have found three sites who lost PageRank over the past few days and they all have one thing in common: paid links.

Rob Watts reported this trend on his blog recently at Yack Yack SEO.

I am supposing that these "corrections" are in advance of the next full PageRank export to the Google toolbar. Heck, *any* theory sounds good to me these days!

Perhaps my memory is paying tricks on me but I thought this 'PR-1 update' started with companies like statcounter and msn dropping, and then worked down to lower PR sites. I doubt if MSN were buying dodgy links.

So I don't think it's an adjustment due to paid links. It's more likely just a recalibration of where on the scale of 'real PR' that each 'toolbar PR' band falls.

Based on the (new) PR of my sites I am completely convinced that this is not the final update in any shape or form, just a temporary situation until the real PR export.

The drop in PR for some sites might not have anything to do with the overall PR update, but the reason stated in the link below:

I'd like to specify that Matt talked about "full update", whatever that means.

I agree with you, I just hope this is not the real pr export.

May be there was no change in PR of your sites which is very good. But you don't need PR to sell advertising -do ya?. Out of my 4 directories- one is now PR3-down from PR4:( - The PR6 is still PR6 though I see changes on innerpages. One is still PR3. The other is a new site and still PR0:(

So -most probably those who has not seen any PR change on their sites might do well to check PR of all their inner-pages.

Could someone please explain to me what on earth is the point of posts like the above?

Or maybe we could just encourage them to shut the hell up until they actually have something to report? As I said before, "nothing happened" is not news; "something happened" is news. It's not that difficult a distinction to comprehend.
