Side notes:
I'm selling the site to make room for a new project. Trust me, I had no intentions of letting this one go until just recently. My focus was to create a major competitor for joox.net. Major traffic began coming in after submitting an article to Digg. The article can be found HERE.
This article made the second page of Digg (could be first page, though I am unsure) and as a result also received 722 bookmarks from del.icio.us (which was 100% viral, with no effort on my part. I am considering selling this excellent site for the right offer. Half of me wants to hold on to it.

Traffic seems to be dropping heavily according to Alexa - http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=kazoop.net. Why?

 

The article I wrote up was made popular on Digg which is basically what helped launch the site's traffic. At that point, the traffic came in so quickly (over 28,000 that day) which is why you're seeing the steep decline. It will likely level off at 4000 visits per day without any additional advertising for some time.

The site is still not listed on OVGuide.com, which is a huge help as far as traffic goes (speaking from my prior experience running a similar site). So that potential is there. Additionally, the organic traffic alone is bringing in a solid 300 visitors a day.

Videos aren't hosted on the site if that's what you're asking. As for legality, I've had no problems whatsoever in the year I've been running these sort of sites.

 

What about hosting? Are you doing it or how long would the buyer have to move the site?

I like the site. It works well, and theres only a few very minor changes I think it would need.

A few questions before I bid: could you take some screenshots on the backend? I've used the standard Joomla backend before, and it was very sluggish. Do you have plugins that make adding/removing videos easier?

Is the site Adsense safe?

Whats the hosting requirements? I know all videos are embedded, but Joomla is a big dynamic script. Whats the server load? (VPS? Shared? Dedicated?)

How supportive is the community? Do you still have to find most of the videos yourself?

What type of revenue source do you use for it?

 

I would say that it is probably not adsense safe, although I haven't chosen to find out.

Right now, I'm using hostgator shared hosting and it's working fine. I was considering moving to an offshore host but it isn't completely necessary. Up to this point I have been adding videos myself. Member participation has been minimal (there has been some).

63 members right now.

CPX, although another ad network would probably yield much better earnings.

The flagging system was planned but I have put that on hold. That function will not be included with this sale. For the forums, to be honest I am unsure how to fix that error. It is a conflict between CBE and Fireboard I believe, though I had also planned to switch to vbulletin in the future.
