Godaddy Transfers

I've just bought a domain name from someone, and will be buying more soon (registered at Godaddy). They have a free push, so what information do I have to give them so that they can transfer it? Just my username?

    Thanks :)

    Name
    Address
    Telephone
    Email address etc..

And they mail information to your email account and you need to put that on your account pending changes.(They guide it) Finally you need to check out it it's free

You can only give your email so the seller can initiate the push. Detailed instructions are already included in the email.

Doesn't it work automaticly at godaddy. When I transfered domains I only had to click on a link and the seller also

Basically, once you get the email, you have a transaction code and a security code, and you go to your account and accept the transaction and then the domain comes to your account.

This is basically all you need ;) not that complicated.

Also, a note (since I made this mistake before): make sure the other person has a godaddy account, it makes things soooo much easier. If they don't, they'll need to sign up and the transfer isn't as smooth..

That's why you gotta love using godaddy for domain hosting, pretty smooth transations ;) (Unlike Yahoo :p )
