Hi UK webmasters and the likes of may be interested in my new UK Web Directory UKwebUK. This one was kept under wraps for a little while as i was working on it but google somehow managed to find the site and started to index the pages. It is already showing significantly in the serps for its keywords. Since big G had already made this site public i thought it would be a good idea to announce it, though some of you may have already come across it. UKwebUK web directory is intended to be a highly valuable resource both for the casual user and also for webmasters who are looking to get their site noticed. UKwebUK Web Directory does not only contain commercial sites but also personal websites, blogs, forums and many more. Here's the criteria to be listed: # Must be uk related. # Domain containing "UK" preferred but not essential. # Owned by UK company. # Description must clearly describe what is offered to UK residents/consumers. Hi, I just went to submit, but £15.99 for a PR0 site is a bit steep so didn't. If you want submissions I would either build some PR or make it free for a while to get it populated. I appreciate the work that goes into developing a directory, but you need a balance of making money and actually getting visitors to return. Just a thought. Steve
Ok well you were obviously only looking at featured. Regular is much lower. Yes featured is higher this is not a luxury that i would expect everyone to take nore do i want the site to fill up with featured links all at once like many other web directories do. Build some pr??? Pr is old news for a start. Do you realize how long since the last toolbar update? Although my pledge is to make it a valuable resource of uk related sites, submissions at this point aren't that important. I'm confident there will be visitors as i'm targetting a specific niche that i am pasionate about and have already put in some solid time and money.
