Have google traffic but no yahoo traffic

I've done fairly well for some of the lower searched keywords in my niche I was trying to target and now one of my site gets almost 60% traffic from google (700 uniques a day or so) so I have some decent google traffic. However I notice I get absolutely no traffic from yahoo or msn or any other search engines really and so I wanted to know what sorts of things should I do to try and improve my yahoo serps. I've applied to DMOZ but of course that takes forever if i even get approved.

I have the same problem. I guess if your website has another language content, yahoo is not succesful for non-english contents generally. This is a guess only. I want to know this too.

    Hey there,

Yahoo did not crawl my website for several weeks.

From what I have read, they were upgrading their engine.

They just started crawling my site again yesterday.

Give it a few days and maybe it will pick back up for you as well.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

    Hey there,

Does submitting to the yahoo directory cost money?

If so, how much are we talking about?

    Is it worth it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

I also get no traffic from Yahoo on any of my sites. I have good keywords showing up in the top 3 of google, but the same keywords don't show up at all in yahoo...and I have pages indexed. I don't know what the problem is with yahoo.

On the flip side..i have hundreds of backlinks showing on Yahoo, but not a single one showing on Google.

If you are good at G, then nothing is better than it. Yahoo has very less traffic now...

    1. Generate RSS for your website content.
    2. Add the RSS to your my.yahoo.com or to my site explorer (Yahoo Webmaster Tool).

    It worked for me.

I am not sure what you mean with Analytics and Yahoo. Yahoo does not care. I have sites with thousands of pages listed in Yahoo and in the first page SERPs with them and I use Google Analytics on all those pages.
