You really sound like a cry baby - crying about anyone who won't believe the same things you do. You then start threads to try and trick people into looking foolish. You failed miserably. You failed English and now you even failed at your own forum special olympics and you had no competition. So how does this make you feel?

    ay yay yai!

    What threads did i start?

If anybody sounds like a cry baby it's the ones stamping their feet and demanding that everyone believes them when they can't present a single shred of evidence. Like the child who has a hissy fit when their parents say that they can't see their invisible friend. Exept in this case it is grown-ups who openly admit that they would kill thier child if thier invisible friend told them to.

it's a fair proposition, Evidence or stfu.

Why would you want me to shut my mouth? I have only ever pointed to what the Bible teaches. Why? Because it has good news for mankind. Please read these next lines as they are directed at you personally.

You or anyone else could never make me shut my mouth. Especially when it comes to matters about the Bible and about God. So give it up st0xy. There's nothing you can do about it. It seems you are the one who is throwing hissy fits and turn to offensive language when you can't get your way. Woe the one who throws stones from glass houses.

I'll say it again. If you have not got anything positive to contribute then don't contribute. Your negative and sometimes offensive words continually reveal your deep seated hatred towards those who have spiritual discernment. It's not healthy for you at all and can't see your objective other than picking a fight.

True and this day and age we are going by Jesus Christ and the holy ghost times. So, killing your kids would be a grand delusion on people part the holy ghost is against killing and that encludes your kids.

I didn't say i could make you shut up, I said you should. Common decency and self-respect should prevent any normal person spouting garbage in face the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Oh wait, The religious aren't normal, They are delusional lunatics which are incapable of accepting anything that contradicts their fairy story, No matter how much evidence there is.

See, The trouble is, With all the evidence contradicting what you say i find it hard to believe that you still think you are right. You are intellectually dishonest because even if you look at something that evolutionists say and think "yeah, that makes sense" you are incapable of saying so and instead have to force yourself, against your intelligence (as it is), To continue saying that evidence and science is wrong, The bible is accurate and that you are somehow entitled to voice the opinion that if god demanded it you would kill your child without any kind of negative reaction from people reading such barbaric, insane filth.

God wants us to be very honest,
    God wants us to pray,
God wants us to live in peace
    etc..

Do we really do what God wanted us to do ? Probably not. So why is the imaginary question ? Since I don't do everything that He ordered, probably i wouldn't.

What a mixture of words you spout here...LOL and...you keep putting words in my mouth time and time again. I never said science was wrong. Check my posts...you won't find it ;) However, your scientific opinion I have a problem with....but we have been down this road before many times....it still does not take away the fact that you only want to attack people that have a spiritual interest, to the point of name calling and offensive language...I have not seen you disagree with me on this point yet...you keep disgorging the same offensive, attacking, negative and inaccurate comments over and over again....surely you have something else in your bag???

Can't you just say "I agree to disagree?" and leave it at that? There's no harm done then!!

and again for the third time...you keep bringing up this point about God ordering someone to kill their child...what part of "I st0x do not believe in God or the Bible at all. Therefore, my point is moot." do you not understand? It's a hypothetical situation that would never happen (I even mentioned that once or twice already).

I am starting to think you might be suffering from some mental illness that prevents you from retaining new and important information.

Oh! and the self-respect comment....PLEASE!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA.....coming from you????

Explain how it's a mixture of words.

There are lots of people with "spiritual interests" on this forum, I don't attack them, Only the ones who insist on pissing in peoples faces and telling them it's raining. If you want to post saying how right you are you have to accept that people are going to post telling you how wrong you are and how stupid your religion is.

As for the "moot point". According to the book you believe in, it already did happen. According to the book you believe to be the word of god, he already did ask someone to kill their child. So don't post this shit claiming that your god isn't capable of asking such brutal things of his drones. he already has.

You don't attack them? Hmmmmm...let's see...is it here that you don't care which religion anyone belongs to? and here is where you said anyone that believes other than evolution is an idiot. Seems you might be forgetting your words somewhat maybe?

HAHAHA...Nice sidestep there. I already addressed this even in a prior post and addressed it quite well I might add. The more you open your mouth the more feet you seem to be lodging in there.

If ever there is a lesson to be learned in life is to never attack others for what they believe in. It's quite OK to discuss things rationally and calmly. However, you seem to find great difficulty in doing this without ending up slandering, debasing and offending others.

It's hardly singling them out. I have a mental note of who are the religious ones, But i don't go chasing after them. Only the ones who constantly claim they are right when logic, reasoning and science proves they are wrong. And even then i don't chase them, I wait until their inability to stfu brings them to me. At which point i put them in thier rightful place.

You know, You are almost making me feel bad for saying that anyone who is willing to kill their child is a brutal, primitive, psychopathic monster.... NOT!

Hypothetical only relates to the question. The answer you gave was what you would really do in that "hypothetical" situation. You are intentionally misunderstanding a simple concept now you have realised your mistake of admitting the atrocities you are willing to perform for your religion.

So, what you are saying is.... if people think things then must commit those things, right?

Trust me no this one thing. I made no mistake when I answered your hypothetical question. I answered it hypothetically.

Here is a point you have missed completely. To understand what God's purpose is, one must come to the conclusion that God exists and to spend the time learning what God's purpose is. When one comes to that conclusion then one would understand that your hypothetical situation would never come about. Why? Because it is not God's purpose to do that. What happened with Abraham and Isaac has nothing to do with the era we live in today. It was nothing but an example of integrity and loyalty to God, because Abraham knew God was very real and also knew that God can (if it suited HIS purpose) do anything.

You see? Because of my analysis and study of the Bible I well know that Jehovah would never ask such a thing in our day because for the simple fact it is not his will to do so. If you continually rubbish the Bible the way you have done up til now, you will never know what HIS will is and how HIS will can benefit YOU greatly. Not just benefiting you in the future according to HIS promises, but benefiting you now by gaining knowledge and learning how to deal with any situation effectively. The wisdom of God's word is boundless and can never be tarnished no matter how hard you try. The truth will always remain the truth. It is up to the individual to make the decision to accept or not accept that God's word is truth or not.

No. I'm saying the same thing i have been saying since you admitted it.
That you are capable of doing it.

The situation was hypothetical, Your answer isn't. Do you not know anything?
When someone gives a hypothetical situation the answer you give is what you would do if the situation was real.

"The question is designed to make a number of assumptions, and be answered as if those assumptions are true"

Go back to school, Or to hospital, Whichever one your absence from contributed most to your inability to comprihend simple concepts.

That's my point...IT'S NOT REAL AND NEVER WILL BE

You sound just like a philosopher...I once spoke to a philosopher and ended up with a headache.

Me: What do you think of the world today?
    Philosopher: What is the world?
Me: Well, the society of today as an example.
Philosopher: What really is a society?
Me: The social structure of how we live.
    Philosopher: How do we live?
Me: I see you have some trouble answering simple question.
Philosopher: What really is a simple question?

Have you still got your fingers in your ears and saying "not listening"???
    I give up.

Look, When someone asks a hypothetical question they introduce parameters and assumptions and you answer as if those were true.

It doesn't matter if it's ever going to happen or not, That is irrelevant, because your answer is based on what you would do if it WERE to happen.

Are you seriously not understanding this?

Of course I understand this. The point is you don't understand it does not matter whether it will happen or not. You can't condemn people for what they think they will do in a hypothetical situation. If we could, there would be hardly anyone left on the earth for all the mass killings because of hypothetical questions such as yours.

Decent people would give good answers to hypothetical questions. most people, When asked, Would say they wouldn't kill their child in that hypothetical situation, Or any hypothetical situation where a reasonable answer was possible.

So no, There wouldn't be mass killings because of hypothetical questions. Of course, unless we ask the religious who they would be prepared to kill if their god asked them to. Why stop at your own children?

So, it's back to what you think a decent person is again...you wouldn't be pre-judging what other people would say would you??

How so? According to you. People should be charged, condemned, sentenced (or whatever other name fits) for how they answer a hypothetical question. Hypotheticals can be about anything. Not just religious situations. Ever seen the show by Geoffrey Robertson? Should everyone on that show broadcasted for years and years be convicted or sentenced for how they answered what they would do in the suggested hypothetical situations?

Have you forgotten that you said you would kill your child if god asked you to? Hands up who thinks that's a poor reason for thinking someone is a terrible person.

Well we can't put people in prison for saying what they would do in a hypothetical situation, But it does give a fascinating insight into what kind of person they are. Anybody who answers anything other than "no, i wouldn't kill my child" is scum.
