How to report adwords policy violations to google

I noticed that some competitors for some keywords I'm interested in possibly pursuing are using redirects to display their own url and then redirect to another page to get around the google single page ad pricing. I know this is a violation in adwords and want to report it. Does anyone know how to best go about reporting this to google?

I am writing about it on my google blog and i got some money back. Take my ages to go trough all the URL that are wrong most of them are Muslim Prayer and Muslim MP3 Download and they all break the Adsense rules to bad and not my target at all.

So here is what you should do. But it will take about 1 month before Adword Answer you and Adsense never answer you.

    Good Luck

Google scans every few days for inaccurate display URLs. You don't have to worry about that. Just put up your own ad that looks better, and you'll do better than your competitors.

You can spend your life worrying about what everyone else is doing or you can spend it worrying about things that you do. If you start down this "tattle tale" path, you will be wasting more time then you need too. Just let google handle their business and you handle yours. It's too time intensive to do this and time is money. So take that time and start up a new campaign instead.

i agree ppc-coach. once i was thinking about what other were doing until i took it on myself and started playing with adwords..

at first they were not that effective, but gradually they were when i finally knew what to do and how to do with my own experience.

also, things written by yellow makes a lot of sense as well.

    thanks,

I don't find it very time intensive to send a one paragraph email, not sure about you.

I'm not so sure about that. I've seen ads with invalid display URLs persist for weeks at a time. I blogged about this back in June, and at least one of the advertisers still has an ad running for that keyword. It would be easy for Google to add a function to make sure the display URL domain matches the landing page domain; I don't see why they haven't done it yet. This problem lowers the CTR and increases the CPC of legitimate advertisers, so simply ignoring the problem may not be the wisest thing to do.

If I find invalid ads like this when I'm checking my own ads, I use the Contact Us form in AdWords, choose the "Ad Approvals" category, and fire off a quick message with the search query and the text of the invalid ad. They usually respond within a day or two.

Thanks for the well worded response and for understanding you're not a tattle tale to report people who are violating policies and harming your business.

There are actually certain cases where Google will allow large advertisers to use a display URL that does not match the landing page URL.

I know this is the case for a few large magazines that all use the same fulfillment agency (but are completely unrelated magazines), as well as some other exceptions.

Not sure how mismatched display/landing page URLs would actually harm your business, though.
