Has anyone else heard about Bored.com? What do you know about their company? http://www.impulsecorp.com/profile.htm

    2006 Sales: $2,800,744
    2006 Net income: $-118,553

How can a company that owns Bored.com have negative numbers like that?

Exactly. How can they lose money like that? With such a great domain name "bored.com" they should be making millions a year.

I agree. How can they improve it? They should just try to SEO bored and get it ranked higher. Its so ugly

Yeah the site is horrible, actually lives up to its name, as it makes you bored when you are there, not the opposite like helping bored people be un-bored.

I cant understand those figures at all though, sure they cant be correct.

    They fell hard...

They seemed to have done well with their recent domain sales though.

With that domain they have tons of potential, doesn't look like the owners know what they're doing though.

Ya, that's true. They seem to make more from domain sales than their actual websites.

    Good question ;)

They need to put adsense above the fold like all other sites do, instead they still use some 1997 style banners

Or they could put the ads on the left or right side of the content.

That's not the point though. Their net income isn't generating revenue so they need to change things.

Wouldn't you want it profitable as well with such a great domain name? They seem to lack a lot of knowledge. x.x
