you try ot disable right click and stuff. but in order for a website to work - the code has to get to the users browser - thats how the page is rendered and displayed to the visitor....

you can sometimes hide stuff in css tags and other things - but at the end of the day if osmeone wants it... they will get it...

hmmm.....you cannot hide the source code but you can use this tool to change the code and encrypt it:)
then noone can see your code.
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/encrypter.htm
just enter the source code and encrypt it then it will change to special character:)

    rep+1 if you like:)

Unless, of course, someone runs it through one of many decrypters that are available :)

if they want his adsense id, they'll just ctrl + f and search for the generic adsense code?

What difference would that make? you can specify in adsense that you want only approved sites to use your code, and then you can manually enter your domains.

You cannot hide your code. period. Even if you put the whole site in flash so think tools will rip that code apart.

encryption? not close. if it's encrypted and can be decrypted by your browser or javascript then you already ahve your proof. it has to be decoded to display right?

There's no reason to hide your code. What's the part you think should be? maybe there's a misunderstanding.

I think you cannot hide the source code. Anyway what is the problem if they look at your source code. Can you briefly explain here.

yeah that's what I'm thinking too. i'd like to know why the O/P thinks they need to hide the code. there could be a simple misunderstanding. There shouldn't be anything too negative from HTML code.

Because like I said you can set adsense to only allow it to be used on sites you approve.

EDIT: Go to adsense, click on "AdSense Setup" then the last link in the tabs "allowed sites" Select the option "Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account" and add the domains you approve in the box that opens.

My guess would be the last line in the post directly above yours. The one that shows you that nobody can use your code if you choose to restrict it.
