It's true... I've actually been reducing the cost each day by using some software I've worked on to track keyword level conversions (encrypted sub-ids). The software is helping me to better estimate my highest bid to profit ratio for each keyword (and find if it's profitable at all). I plan to release the software as soon as it's a lot nicer looking and works better... Right now it's fairly hacked together... As the founder of Godaddy once said on his blog, "Everything that is watched (referring to financial statistics) will naturally go up." It makes sense that when you watch your numbers you're going to naturally want to correct the ones that are not working for you... So yea theres a tip for you guys.
i think this illustrates that you need seriously big balls to invest the nessasary amount to generate that kind of income. however get it wrong and you could lose a serious amount very quickly. good luck

Congratulations on your success. I have failed miserably while trying affiliates though. So Iafter experimenting I am back in adsense. Lets see i will experiment it again... Who knows I may have a similar luck too...
Thanks everyone. My next goal is $1000/day profit (Or) $2000/day in sales... whichever comes first. I'll be sure to post here when that happens. Additionally, as I posted on my blog, My monthly sales goal for this month is really low: $20,000.

Congrats! I'm with infamous LOL! I just started monetizing so I am clueless really. Maybe someday I can get paid to write about what I care about most. I read your about page and I think the last paragraph on that page is dead on. I think I just need to have faith like that and I will do just fine!
So, if somebody said to you that for every $600 you gave them that they would give you $1000, you would turn that down? I know it isn't as simple as that, and the work is in the keyword selection, landing pages, and ads, but there is no way I would say that the cost was too much if that is what I was making.
