I am just wondering. How many websites you have? And how much you are earning? I have heard of some people with more than 100 websites. Anyone here have the same number? Is it hard to maintain 100 sites?
Without a large staff managing multiple websites can be tough. It is best to focus on just one or two and make them very quality sites. Personally, I have 3 that are earning money, and several just sitting on my server I am doing nothing with that I will sell later.
We run 3 companies so each have their own websites plus 2 others. I assume by how much you are making you are talking about advertising revenue in which case the answer for the main three is 0 as the companies are service providers and so this is their income mechanism - the 2 others, one is a charity and so nil, the final is advertising revenue and makes in the region of £5,000 a year ($10,000 with the poor exchange rates)
5 sites, 3 that I promote. Start low and build up on quality is my advice. Sell of the sites when you no longer have interest in them.
Two.. I have over 20 domain names and a plan for each single domain but it works better if you put all your energy into just a few. I don't earn anything yet but that wasn't my goal.
