Why do American love gun?

I can not understand why people in US have gun. Many people die because of gun. Why do they ban gun? Word without gun would be better. People will live together in peace. There are no war like US-IRAQ, US-IRAN..

 

In a world without guns you will be stabbed with a knife.

 

I think in USA no need to take the license for having gun. I think thats why you will find gun in 99 from 100 homes

 

you read to media to much! guns in the hands of evil people will result in shootings, how ever just because you own a gun it doesnt mean your going to kill some one. if you look how big the usa is (population wise) and then look at some Real stats, you will see it has a ok gun ratio compared to the country's population.

good one man but without a gun how would you survive with out food out in the woods or what if someone broke into you home guns are a way of life but its the morons that give the gun its bad rap

Well not in my area

 

I live in Alaska. Anywhere we go outside the cities, it is possible to run into bears. In fact, there are an estimated 250 bears within the city limits of my hometown Anchorage. I have lots of friends here who have had bears come right up to their homes. My .300 Winchester magnum rifle is for self-defense. Thankfully. I haven't had to use it yet. A bear in the wild, not separated from you by zoo fences, is a scary sight.

 

As a Brit living in the USA I'm actually quite surprised. Nobody I know over here actually owns a gun. Yes there are more guns (and shootings) over here but it's not anywhere near what I was lead to believe.
