I wonder how i can earn from Affiliate Programs. In my opinion, visitor come to your site to look for information not for buying or registration to other web. So it is very difficult to earn from Affiliate Programs. It is waste of time. It is my idea. But i think i may be wrong. Some of you earn much from this source. Please correct me if you think i am wrong.
I too would like to know the answer to this. I have had affiliate programs running on my web site for almost 4 months now and have only earned $3.04.
You are very wrong then... Either your target audience is wrong; you are promoting a lousy product; your sales copy isn't good; your optimized keyword isn't relevant(SEO); your adcopy isn't qualified enough (PPC), or you think that making money online is a piece of cake. 1 tested and proven way to earn money from affiliate program: Run a 'review' site. Review affiliate products, and compare them with other products. That should boost your conversion rates. Just an idea...
When somebody comes to your website searching for " Free Tones " he will most probably not buy any thing... But if somebody comes to your website searching for " Cheap Akon Ringtones" and you have an affiliate link in a relevant context with your content, or somewhere visible on your site, the visitor most probably will buy that ring tone from the seller.... It is all about targetting right Search Strings, and create good copy if you are into Adwords or any PPC, such that the copy filters those who are looking for free ring tones from Cheap ringtones ...IN MY OPINION
Hello RaaGo, If you can send targeted visitors to any good sales page, you can make sales and earn money. There are many free and paid methods to send visitors to sales pages. Do you run any web sites?

You can def. make huge bank from affiliate programs. Maybe your not on the right network? Try azoogle, clickbooth, xy7, or somthing of that nature. Azoogle may not be accepting new publishers at this time so I have heard, but I may be wrong. find great sites from directory list and learn how they use affiliates programs u may use http://www.we-globe.net/WebLab/Dmoz/ to reveal affiliate sites, listed in Dmoz, for example. U may also search their for sites from your category and learn specifically from them.

yes moreniche is a great and very profitable network. you cant ONLY have information on your site and then some affiliate ads, you have to work them together through PRE SELLING, in your articles, work in the solution the product you promote provides and GET THEM INTERESTED so they will click through to seller and buy buy buy
I would definatly agree with this, you have to make it an easy and viable solution to whatever they are wanting. Something that needs to be mentioned is keep on going, persevere and don't give up!
i wish i could sell tons of ebooks like i did with my own products, since i understand completely the niche ...but having problem with affliate, selling other s products...
Comboy... You just joined last month and you already have 250 posts. At this point, I would focus on reading more and posting less. Do some hardcore reading of not only this forum, but others as well. This way you can start learning a bit more, thus enabling you to start generating income from Affiliate Programs. Affiliate Marketing is a very good industry to be in and one that is quite lucrative ...but you must learn and continue learning to be successful. -=Chipmunk=-
Another tip.... Don't try to do EVERYTHING you read on forums such as DP. There are 1001 ways to make money with Affiliate Programs: whether PPC, SEO, article marketing, social bookmarking, e-mailing etc. Focus on something you think you might want to specialize in, find someone who has been-there-done-that, and replicate what he is doing/has done. I myself used to fall under the trap of trying everything under the sun, and didn't see much results. Only when I started to focus on something, did I really see the money really come in. All the best
