Hi, I have tried to log in my account in e-gold after three months. Once I uploaded by pin No- the e-gold gives the message as follows:- "The IP you are using to access the e-gold website appears to be either an open proxy or otherwise exploited. You will not be permitted to access e-gold services from this IP while this condition continues." Will anybody help me to fix this issue?
The point is to login using other IP address. E-gold is using a db of proxy/exploited IP address in order to block cheaters/scammers/spammers. So basically what you have to do is to login to e-gold using other IP address , try a net cafe spot , library etc.
Are you using a Web-based Proxy or your Web Browser is using a Proxy server to access the e-gold website ? You try accessing without a proxy by not using a web based proxy or disabling the Proxy Server settings in your web browser.
As far as I remember, e-gold uses some of well-known lists like spamhaus.org, spamcop.net & etc. And looks like your provider IP network became blacklisted of one of them. If contacting e-gold don't work, try to find this lists by search engines and contact them to delete your IP from lists. We had similiar problem in past, and this helped.
And also check your computer with good antivirus - if you have some trojan listerner, this can be reason of such message too.
I agree with YIAM. You should try with proxy... but be careful. Your information might go to wrong hands...
Using proxy to access e-gold account is completely unsecure. If you can't unban your IP, it's better to use VPN, bought at secure place of course.
If you are using a proxy currently, just stop using it. If you aren't using one and have a static ip, then use one.
