A local person who lives only 1 mile from me owns the car. Apparently, he is selling it for £3000 (around $6000USD). The bang was so loud, it made me jump. I saw him press a button on the dash, and then 1/2 second later it went bang so loud, it was defening. Warning: Don't drive near this car if you are in Cornwall, the bang is as loud as a gunshot. I heard that the rear bumped alone cost him £550.. Oh, i mean the catalytic converter, it probably hasn't got one. I am not american...lol. Rob
His exhaust and lights are illegal too. It wouldn't pass an MOT - at a proper garage doing the test correctly.
Oh well...it must have passed a test, or it won't be on the road. There are plenty of cops here, and i am sure if he were breaking the law, he would be caught by now...if he ran, he would be arrested when he got home. A garage passed my scooter when the rear brake light switch needed replacing (eg: it was stuck on). Normally, it is an instant fail if you have this problem. I fixed this problem 3 weeks after the MOT, because it was really cheap to do.
