Due to many, many things going on in my life, I'm considering letting go of my baby. The site is in my sig (film reviews). I'm a professional SEO / Internet marketer of 10 years and I've devoted almost 3 weeks of my life onto this project, the results are exciting.

    About the site:

Created just short of a month ago, a lot of thought went into this project before it even became a reality. We played with domain name ideas and came out with an incredibly good one, a play on words that means 2 things, but specifically 2 things, though completely the opposite. (have a think about it) So we get the best of both worlds with just the 1 domain. indexed based on relevancy and cater to all potential visitors. I had no plans to begin monetizing it until it got SERPs. the domain name is with godaddy.

It has been heavily , professionally SEO'ed, more explained in the traffic.

    About the design:

Based on a standard wordpress theme, we gutted it from ground up and gave it a custom header / logo and footer. this is not a cheap design. much time and effort went into it and its reflective of the domain, the content and the idea behind the site. It's had many compliments already :)

    About the traffic:

As mentioned, I've worked for 3 weeks solid on this project. I have approximately 10,000 pr3+ backlinks (4,000 already showing in google webmaster tools) a few PR4's and countless 0,1,2's. Heres the exciting bit: the site is Number 4 for the search term: Independent film reviews - 1 below IMDB. out of 49 million competing and only 3 weeks of hard work. The traffic is minimal as its not a massively competitive phrase... but, it attracts the perfect visitor to monetize. (if you don't understand what I mean you shouldn't bid on this site) it also gets daily SERPs for various tail end key phrases: Wild seven film review, wild seven movie review etc. each new post is usually crawled and indexed within 12 hours. also, some of the reviews got SUPER stumbled. i had 53 visitors on the site at one point, about 1,000 spread across the day.same goes for digg and tenchorati, visitors LOVE the site, it even has subscribers! also, I bought 40,000 unique human visitors from a well know traffic source, the buyer will receive the remaining 37,000 uniques upon transfer.

    About the potential:

The site has already been approached by a national PR company to review and feature a indy film they are promoting. the earning potential here is HUGE. I was unable to accept the offer due to my other time commitments but this is a very lucrative business. also, with amazon affiliates and adsence embedded, this site could make a killing. each new movie that comes out and you write a short (200 word) review is a potential top 10 SERP for that movie + "film review" tail end key phrase. yes, the site was specifically designed to do this and is already working as planned :)

    About the price:
A lot of work has gone into this project. you will not be buying half a site, a project, a beater. you will be buying a complete site that has been hand crafted and designed with 1 purpouse in mind. It only needs to be updated when YOU feel like it, the more reviews you put in, the more SERPs you get out, the higher the income. this is a plug and play deal. ideally, I would like to at the very least, recoup my time and financial investment made with a slight profit. I'm open to offers, please read this next line very carefully:

Do not ask me to pm you revenue, stats, screenshots etc. everything you need to make an informed decision is within this post.

That said, throw me some offers, Bid, Do whatever just please don't waste either of our time. Window shoppers - move along please :)

It would help if you gave us a ballmark figure into what you are after, I am very interested but have no idea what to offer so how about helping us out with that? You say you want to recoup what you spent plus a little profit which is fair enough but you havent mentioned what you have spent, so how about giving a ballmark figure otherwise this thread will probably fill up with loads of lowball ones you arent interested in, wasting everyones time.

Thanks for all the kind comments via pm guys.

I'm not sure what a decent, ballpark BIN is for this site. The site is very special in its design and concept. Each time you add a new review, within 12 hours is a potential top 5 SERP for "example film review" - this is pretty much guaranteed for independent films and is already generating decent traffic for about 4 of them I did. The tail end keyphrase potential is massive.

As for my time, Like i said guys, I put almost an entire month of my time into this project. If i wanted i could monetize it over the next month and probably get 2x that amount back and it would continually grow based on new reviews, as it stands, i just do not have time.

I had several ballpark offers via PM from $350-$700, no you was not offending me, It was my fault for not explaining exactly whats gone into this site and what can come out of it. How many movie sites can honestly say they are in keyphrase competition with IMDB / Rotten tomatoes? ;)

My time is worth a lot, a typical months SEO / Internet marketing for a client ranges from 1000 - 3000 / month. I haven't just seo'ed this site though, I've broke my back on its concept / design / development.

I have given you a complete breakdown of what has gone into this site and you should already know its long term value. The bidding is at $700 currently but i do have a higher reserve in mind.

So how much time is involved would you say for this site is necessary to keep it going strong? The new owner would be writing all the new reviews?

I also tried a couple of terms such as "little children movie review", "music and lyrics movie review", but couldn't find the site in the top 30 in Google? Am I doing something wrong?

the new content is entirely up to the new owner. I was writing a review a day in less than 15 minutes. some were mega stumbled within 15 mins of posting them and the burst traffic is amazing, then, when those link backs propagate to google, the serps increase also.

if you look in the content section, you can have a 200 word unique film review written for $3. I have about 5 people asking me to do this full time but I'm not going to put any more financial investment in this project as i don't have time to dedicate to it.

also, another one of the reviews just got super stumbled, without me doing ANYTHING to promote today, I've just had 85 unique hits and I'm guessing this will grow as the stumblers stumble it more.

No, not at all - The tail end key phrases take time to develop, this site is only ~1 month old, it cannot expect to go right in and compete with some of the biggest movie review sites on the planet in such a short time frame.

whats happening with the tail ends is they are getting sandboxed, they will be in the top 10 for a day, then disappear from googles index completely for a day, I don't expect this to last long due the sheer number of quality, pr3+ link backs but its to be expected for a brand new website.

also, this website isn't just reliant on SE's for traffic. visitors love this website, the feedback we receive is incredible, the sheer number of stumbles / diggs it gets without any effort on our part is pretty special.

    Nice site!

    Has it made any revenues?

Also keyword stuffing the title tag is professional SEO?? If I am to add valuation for SEO work it would be less than your self assessment. Nothing personal.

    Love the URL :D

SEO will 99% of the time be opinion based unless in fact - you have insider information on exact algorithm / listing technology, (for that moment in time) which for a short period of time, i did ;)

a 17 word title tag that is descriptive and reads grammatically well will never harm any SEO campaign. I've only had it work, and work well, if you look at the deeper links, you will see more specific title tags..

Thanks for the comments, appreciate it! :D

    hmm very strange

its working fine for me and several msn contacts. I was going to upgrade the hosting to c-class ip but didn't get around to it.

if i get any substantial offers i'll throw in 6 months top of the line c-class ip hosting.

don't want to transfer the dns while potential buyers are trying to access the site.
