Hello, Anyone noticed the change in Rankings of Google and MSN? I remember Google was Number 3 itself some days back but now when I checked Google is Number 2 and MSN is ranked 3....
Actually it happend long time back.. even before the lauch of Live.com then MSN regained its Position... Now as you said yes it might be coz of Live.com....
According to that graph live.com will surpass google shortly So perhaps MSN is moving down, but it looks like Live is going to take its place. Maybe Google will go down to 4 if they can keep traffic on MSN also I have only been hearing good things about live.com search results so maybe people are finally getting sick of Google and moving to something new.
Hear! Hear! Well said that man! I think Alexa is the greatest ruse in webmaster space, just pulling the wool over everyone's eyes. They took a simple concept that in real terms is worthless, spent a lot of money convincing people it has value and then got them to start competing for the top spot of worthlessness! I applaud the Alexa marketing department, if nothing else about it.
lol Alexa is so borked. Seriously this is just good advertising like that list of heroes I saw recently where Jesus was #2 lol.
Well, I give some importance to Alexa Ranking..... maybe be give more importance to Page Rank.... because Page Rank is all about SEO and not traffic... but Alexa is based on traffic even though they counts only those who have their toolbar.... but we can increase the Alexa rank by visiting our own pages but stil thats for small sites only....
