Yes, I didn't put you there because you don't need to be on another list. Most perverts put you upon the top of their 'To-Do' lists. =O
Too bad the lactose in the cream and chocolate would make me bloat up 'cause I'm lactose in tolerant. I don't want it, give it to GNET
KingofKings you got what you deserve now what are you going to do about the karma coming back to kick you in the butt latter on - Huh!
Anything dealing with thousands, use escrow.com or go through a reputable source like elance.com. If you can't, then only pay 10% upfront. Pay 30% ore at beta and pay off the whole thing on delivery. Trust me, they will keep working if they only see 10%
awww really? I gotta ask him that! I never knew. And do you think soy milk would work? I'm serious.. I'll try it one day!
you know what dude, i have been cheated a few times and it hurts really bad, so u know what, just to gain you trust back in designers, i will make you a free website!!!!! why??? because i hope someone will do the same for me someday!!!!
I agree wholeheartedly. I very rarely pay anything up front. Although, some of my business clients have full trust in me because demand payment up front for pretty much anything I do. I have earned credibility this way and has worked out fairly well. Out of a handful of people I did some work for or I got them to do some work for me, I paid these ones an advance (or deposit if you like). A number of them ran off with the money to never return. KingofKings, you really got to get out of this "trusting people to do work for you by paying them up front" way of thinking. I know you have been burnt many times because of this. You have credibility @ DP and now you can start to do business a better way, hopefully. This statement is not just for KingofKings, it is aimed at all DP members who conduct business. Hope this helps. Col
It is all about reputation col If I worked for a reputable member (such as yourself) I wouldn't ask for anything upfront. A peon or lesser known person is a different story.
pretty much the same experience here. i get a kind of "picture" how the website should look in a pdf file from the designer, but the only correct thing there are the shapes! even if the designer provides me a color code, the colors look different in html and adobe reader. then he suggests some exotic fonts 99% of all visitors dont have on the system, or some silly hover effects you can only do in flash or javascript, but not in css. and yes, the response time is always terrible - more than 1 month until you get a reply, a few months to get him for an meeting.
