Habit on DP

Hmm, I was wondering what do you guys do when you login to DP? The following is my pattern:

1) Search for all previous thread sarted by me and reply if needed
2) search for threads I have participated in and reply when needed
3) Goto Freebies
4) Goto General Chat
5) Goto General Chat >> Entertainment
6) Goto Buy, Sell or Trade >> Contest

and than back to Freebies

 

1) check private messages and respond to them
2) check userCP
3) check threads I've started
4) surf mindlessly and post

 

Yes, I do some of them.

I do 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th. ( But I browse Buy/Sell/Trade and Services ( Sub-forum of Buy/Sell/Trade forum).

 

I go to UserCP to check threads i've responded to...reply accordingly or unsubscribe from them...

then I head to buy/sell/trade...sites, contests, freebies, random ones whatever i feel like

then after that it's http://forums.digitalpoint.com/spy.php and new posts

 

ahh, that's new to me. Never notice that feature before Thanks

 

no problem, it's an often overlooked feature (but it's really neat i think )

 

Go straight to my UCP then just reply to those threads.

 

Im rather new here but do this:

1. Check and reply to PMs
2. Search and reply to threads made by me.
3. Browse all the marketplace
4. Look at directories
5. Randomly post

 

1. Check PM s
2. Check Threads I've participated using UserCP
3. Turn on the Spy
4. Post to interesting threads ..
555 Auto Logout Very annoying
5. Login ...... Repeat from Step-1

 

i check PMs
check threads ive started
wander around aimlessly posting and reading

 

I dont have specific routine.

Check my topics
Reply anything
Browse buy + sell
Browse other topics

 

Check my PM's
Check UCP and reply to any threads that I need to
Browse the Domain section
Browse Content Creation section
Go to the New Posts link and check for any that I can reply to

 

PMs ===> User CP ===> Spy

 

I stopped using the Spy. It goes too fast and I don't pay attention to it anyway. It's a great tool though.

 

I find it rather cool, but then again the other forums I post on don't have it so...

 

1) Search for all previous thread sarted by me and reply if needed

 

• Read PM (if any) - Read only
• Go to PHP section (read and reply)
• Go to Programming section (Read and reply)
• Go to Genral Chat (Read two threads with somewhat interesting titles, if there are that much)
• Go to Domain appraisals. (Just read, barely reply)
• User CP
• Reply to PMs (if I'm in the mood... usually not though, lol)

 

You don't have to search for those. You can find them easily in your UPC!

Here's my routine:

1. Check UPC, answer PMs
2. read/reply to threads in UPC
3. Repeat #1
4. Repeat #2
5. Repeat #1
6. Repeat #2
7. When I finally kill off everything in my UPC, I hit GC, Entertainment, S&F, and UG.
8. Repeat #1
9. Repeat #2
10. When UPC is cleared again, I look through recent posts of a few of my favorite people to see if they have found any good threads that I have missed.
11. Then I start over again with #1.

I have a few other routine tasks that I do, but those are secret.
