Everyone knows about the MillionDollarPage. Excellent concept at that time when people bought pixels to advertise their business. Not anymore. A few months back, Graham Langdom created MillionDollarWiki, another unique concept who offers a whole page of advertising instead of just a few squares (pixels). I have spent a few nights thinking to buy a page myself to promote my business. Then I come up with this ideea - MillionBlogs. A page is only a page and it will be indexed only once by the search engines, how much info can you add on a single page? How can you run a business from only a single page? Obviously you can but…hmm… a page is only a page! MillionBlogs.org wants to become a great informational platform both for the end users (readers) and blog owners. The ideea it’s so simple! Instead of owning a few pixels or a single page why don’t you own a whole fully functional website where to advertise your business and to write useful informations from your niche? Imagine owning a great keyword, a country name or your business name! I think it is much easier to monetize such a website than even your own! Now get your own exclusive word and become the only one in a million!
Did I miss geocities? I was only kidding, but all the best. I will see it grow and see if I can give my feedback and inputs.. I always do , even though I like to think I have a sense of humor
Did you proofread your sales pitch? I could never invest $70 in someone who spells the word "ideea" wrong twice in their sales pitch.
Right...thanks for the input and sorry for the misspelling. I'm not able to edit the post anymore, unfortunately. Just to let you know that marketing and advertising this kind of business has nothing to do with the fact that a word has been misspelled. Just noticed people are not quite friendly when someone comes up with new ideas. After only a few hours of promotion the keyword "Web Hosting" has been secured by someone so you guys hurry up to get the best keywords! Thanks
Isn't there a MillionDollarWiki website that is the exact same idea? I think I'd rather just use a free service like Squidoo.
Yes it does. How can I be confident investing my money if you can't even spell check? Grammar and spelling are reflections on your product. If your spelling and grammar is sloppy, then, in my opinion, your product is sloppy. It basically tells me you thought of this idea last night (maybe 2 nights ago), whipped up a blog and a sales pitch, slapped it on the Internet and launched it the next day before the bandwagon pulled away. If this was a well-thought idea then you would have taken the time to proofread your material.
Ok...as a small update, this "dumb" idea had 411 visitors and 2637 pages viewed in the first day from launch. As the promotion continues, I'm looking forward to get about 1000 daily visitors within the next few days. Also the first blog - "Web Hosting" has been acquired by VelnetWeb. Hopefuly they will do a useful source of information for their niche
I just wish all these "Get rich quick" schemes go away. Focus on building quality pages. Offer REAL and LASTING value to the consumer. Just my opinion.
I think you misunderstood the concept a bit. It is not a "Get Rich" scheme. The main thing is to create a great informational platform with quality content from various niches
People here really tend to be very sarcastic about new things Yeah, things like this have been done before but what's the problem in someone trying to improve an old idea. I wish you all the best, mate
