Get paid 50$ for building me a web site!

    Hi there folks!
I'm starting a website that helps people on their computer problems.
Basically the user goes to the website, instantly fills in a form with the fields:
    Name:
    Email:
    Location:
    Subject:
    Problem:
And a "check in box" field with the options of: Software related, Hardware related, Other / Not sure.
They submit the data and I receive an email with the data.
The user must also receive an email and the data submitted with a standard thank you note.
The email the user enters should also be entered into a database on my server, witch I can use later on to for a newsletter or a follow up.
I then have experienced computer technicians that answer the questions.
The domain is http://www.free-pc-advice.com (The site displays properly under firefox, not IE.)
I have built an example of the site there.
There will come a little more content to the site, but I want to keep it simple with only one page.
    Your job is to:
1#build an extremely beautiful site, with a professional look.

2#Setup a form that sends the data to my email and stores the users email in a database, and sends a "thank you" note to the user with the data they submitted.

3#Make the site search engine friendly and compatible with many different browsers.

4#I will use my rather disappointing web skills to edit content on the site and such.

My current server is a godaddy Linux deluxe plan, found on https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/shared.asp?ci=8886#tabs:

If you have any questions please feel free to ask them!
When the site is finished, I will post it here to be reviewed by others!
So if you do a good job, you might get a little free advertising!

I wish you nothing but the best for your project, but for the amount of work you're asking for, you'll have a hard time finding someone to do it for 50$...don't forget that web optimization - if done properly - takes time.

I'm not saying you WON'T find someone to do it for you, but it wouldn't be to your advantage to hire someone who is going to do the job half-heartedly. That can lead to bigger problems (like if, say, they are careless in optimizing your page and you end up black listed)...

    Just some friendly advice. :)

    $50??

Thanks for showing how little respect you have for this stuff. Try learning it yourself and then come back to us and see if you think it's worth $50. How about $500. You're not just talking css, you're talking database design, and backend coding (php, asp.....) Try taking a year or two learning all three of those things and then tell us about $50.

Cool down guys! I have no idea how much time it would take an experienced web designer to build such a website.
And I carry great respect for web-design and web-designers work. That's why I don't want to screw up this project by designing something shitty myself.
And with the database code, couldn't I use a pre-written code used with a sql-database for input, there must be a lot of different codes ready to use.
Anyways, I see my offer was way too low, but I didn't want to start up too high, though I'm starting to make money on the internet, I'm definitely not Bill Gates.
How much money would I need to get the job done by you guys or some one else?
    Thanks

Well from your lines, I would say the design part is the most important part, the rest is pretty quick and easy to achieve.
Design templates prices are very different from one people to another and if you wish something kicking ass, you will have to put the price; you can also use pre made templates which cost only around 50$.
I would say your project can cost you from 100$ (not very good) up to ... well no limit but a fair amount would be around 500$ imo.

a very good design could increase the price up to more than 2000$ (include logo and corporate identity chart)

    Thanks for the info there.
I'm fine with templates as long as it's neat, clean and looks professional.
2000$ is way out of my budget, unless I want to eat rice a month.
100$-250$ is more what I can spend at the moment.
I'm getting a fat clickbank check soon and if all goes well next period I might be able to increase my budget.

I've checked out templates, but most of them are designed for many page sites, and they also look unclean and unprofessional.
