Am working on a project and want to get your opinions on a few title descriptions for standard pages such as:

    Sitemap
    Policy
    Copyright
    About
    Disclaimer

Im aware of how to write title tags but just would like your opinions if you would keep the title short and too the point for these generic pages or would you expand a little?

    Thanks

Short and to the point is best.

Why would you want to expand on a title tag for a page like sitemap or disclaimer?

Trying to gain an advantage by adding keywords in titles of these types of pages will not get you further up the rankings in my opinion.

Those are the things that does not need any complicated titles, but all I can suggest is:

    - Sitemap - Site Name
    - Policy - Site Name
    - Copyright - Site Name
    - About - Site Name
    - Disclaimer - Site Name

Include your keywords at the end of your title for best results

Thats correct, but overuse of keywords for no good reason will hurt your rankings.

For example if your site is about seo you dont want your terms page title to be Terms and conditions SEO Search Engine Optimization SEO Marketing

Just a simple terms and conditions title would be better.

Describe about the page in short and as descriptive as possible.

    For eg..
"Read copyright policy about this site" :)
