Do you mean to say that people are comment spamming your site/blog ?
If you are on wordpress, use akismet or any similar filter. Using captcha is also/ making the person register may also help to reduce your spam

If on blogger you can turn on the text people have to enter to post, or only allow friends to reply.

    I've been impressed by Akismet.

Captcha is the worst thing ever. Look for the "intelligent" anti spam systems that require the user to ask a super simple question. Captcha represents everything wrong with the internet. (Not the spam...but the way people choose to deal with spam).

    Back to the topic:

There are two ways to look at this. If you have put any real work or money into your site, you can fight through this setback. Make sure your site is clean and not pulling any tricks (which I would expect to be the problem) and continue to build quality votes (quality links) to your site.
