My Own Domain Outranking My Own Domain

Ok, I own the domain name PS3Tag.com and PS3Tags.com, but for some reason PS3Tags.com outranks PS3Tag.com with the phrase "PS3 Tag". Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? You'd think that the domain that contains no "s" would be at the top for the phrase "PS3 Tag".

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ps3+tag

The thing is I don't even advertise the one with the "s" and we haven't really done anything with it, but redirect it the main domain PS3Tag.com. It's funny, because when we didn't own the other domain and when it was run by our competitors, PS3Tag.com was at the head of the pack for the phrase "PS3 Tag" in Google. I don't understand.

I get the same thing for the phrase "PS3 Gamercards" too. I own PS3GamerCards.com, but my other domain name PS3Tags.com leads it. Very odd to me.

So, does anyone have an explanation for why this might be happening? It really doesn't matter, since I own it, but I'm curious still.

I dunno the definate answer, but on another note...
It looks like you have parked the domains onto of the ps3tag site, google may say its duplicate content as it sees 2 "different" sites with the same content.

    Hmmmm, ok, I see.

Well, idk, does having another domain redirect to the same website and articles mean duplicate content? (sorry I'm new to this ).

If I do, would this be a bad thing in Google's eyes and if so, how should I go about fixing it? I want to have multiple domains pointing to one website.

That's not duplicate content. The website below it is an article submission website and that's the url that directs to my article. I have really nothing to do with that at all.

It doesn't seem as if it's redirected at all. I'm still getting two different pages. That's your problem right there.

It doesn't matter if it's your article, if it has the same content it could easily displace your mainpage. Always write a different article for directories than you use on your site, because you could find it backfiring.

How did you set up your redirect? If you do it a 301 with mod rewrite, the original page should be deindexed shortly.
