Unfortunately the guy will not be able to raise the minimum 100 Million USD in campaign funds, you need to bring in to have chance of becoming president

And that is not going to happen

I'm just guessing here, but I'd think that he has at least doubled his contributions in with grassroots campaigning by his supporters. He doesn't need to face the Democrats anytime soon. He just has to win the Republican nomination, and then I like his odds on the stage against Hillary or Obama.

Is his position on national security still such security guards would be used to fight terrorist threats and if we are attacked, he would write open letters to terrorists asking them to please stop?

With so many good things about him (yes, I've been reading up on many of the candidates), it's really a shame that his weakness, national security, is the biggest issue facing our country.

    He would not need to.
By keeping american troops out of the Middle East and by stopping to meddle into Middle Eastern affairs, there would be no reason for terrorists to attack America.
It is as simple as that. Keep out of other people's businesses and they'll leave you alone.

Unlike Bush, RP would likely follow the advice of the founders, trade and establish diplomatic relations with our enemies.

It's how JFK averted the Cuban Missle Crisis, it's how Reagan outlasted the Russians. It works.

Where were we when 9/11 happened? This is naive thinking, but I also factor in your muslim bias here. We both know islam well enough to know this isn't just not true.

Did you listen to Bin Laden tape after the US started attacking Afghanistan when he said why we were attacked on 9/11???? It was all over the news. I can't believe you missed it.
IF you missed it, here are the reasons that Bin Laden gave:
    1) US blind support of Israel at the detriment of Palestinians and US providing weapons to Israel to kill palestinians and lebanese
    2) US troops presence in Bin Laden's homeland (Saudi Arabia)
    3) US support for oppressive regimes in the Middle East

Those are the reasons that I remember so far.

But you can read the full transcript of one of Bin Laden speeches and find out for yourself from Bin Laden's own words as to why he attacked us on 9/11.

You mean we weren't just in America having our freedoms and being good to the rest of the world when the bad man attacked us? Ludicrous!

Bin Laden hates us for our freedoms. Someone skipped him when passing a joint around the circle, and now he has it out for Led Zeppelin fans, surfers and women who can drive.

That's why the hijackers committed suicide attacks. Islam really has a hard on for classic rock and backyard parties. ;)

You can also read Michael Scheuer's Imperial Hubris book. Michael Scheuer is a veteran CIA specialist and former head of the CIA special unit which was responsible for tracking Bin Laden.
He also has written several articles explaining the reasons why Bin Laden did what he did, how americans must understand why Bin Laden did what he did if they are to win the so-called "War on Terror".
You can find some of his article at http://www.antiwar.com/scheuer/ or simply by searching the web under his name.

Ablaye, you can't quote Scheuer around here, they consider him a Jew-hater or something to that effect. In fact, ANYONE opposed to our current support of Israel is an anti-Semite. And a big meanie head too!

Ron Paul is the most tradition/old school Republican running. I hope that he wins the nomination. I urge all Republicans to seriously evaluate your choices.

The two worst candidates in my opinion are:

Giuliani: Scumbag - Props for cleaning up NYC though. As far as 911 we shouldn't elect him just because he happened to be major when it happened. If anything we shouldn't elect him because of it... Get 911 out of your heads in regards to this man. What does he have...

Romney: Fake - Stop trying to fool everyone into thinking your a Reagan Republican with your fake smiles. He probably a very nice man but he did nothing for MA besides a horrible big dig. The good things he provided were figuring out a universal health care system and freedom for gays. Which I'm all for but republican are not.

I hope for Ron Paul as the Republican nomination and Barack Obama as the Democratic nomination.

IMO the best choices to insure a better and safer America. Just my opinion so far.

So how do you explain the Muslims murdering people from pretty much every country in the world?

If it's just a foreign policy issue then why do they continue to murder Buddhists?

What foreign policy are homosexuals breaking that causes them to be murdered?

It takes a special kind of intellect to think that the only people in the world that the Muslims hate and love to murder are Americans.

On the contrary, he might be the most libertarian. But not a liberal. He's not for socialism or the welfare state. He's not for special rights for minorities (or majorities). He's really a traditional conservative, much in the mold of the founding fathers.

Is the level of Islamic violence consistent against China and Russia that it is with the US? Is it consistent with Germany and France?

Which two countries are most likely and often targets of Islamic violence? The next question will be, are they allies and do they share a common agenda?

Muslims know that if they tried to mess with China or Russia, they would crush them.

Have you seen what Russian cops will do to a criminal? Do you know what China does to it's own people?

What alliance do we have with Thailand or Indonesia? Does India have a stake in the Iraq war? What about all those Buddhists and Hindus being murdered. What's their foreign policy? What about all those Christians being murdered in foreign countries around the world by Muslims?

What's the foreign policy for gay people that gets them murdered in Islamic countries?
