I dont think the guy is asking for this.. He just wants to know what kind of sites to you have that generate this kind of money, how many sites you have. How old are they. How much traffic you get.. This is would give a more diffinate answer to what kind of website you would need to make a $1000 a month.
I have been making over 1k / mo. for a few years now. I think one important factor is the competitiveness of your market. Some ads will pay a few cents per click, while some will pay a few dollars per click. Once you get a good paying niche you need to build content, have good seo, and get visitors. You also have to have good ad placement where people will click on your ads. You can experiment with that using channels.
I reached $2500 a month three months ago, was happy, was saving for college and then my stupid host "had family issues" deleted all the server, my sites were offline for two weeks and I'm back at $500 a month. Shit happens. It's not so hard to break the $1k barrier in my experience, though. I think the secret is more along the lines of automation and user-generated content with the obvious addition of finding a good niche, writing content and getting links through any means possible. If I were a newbie, the first thing I'd do is buy an already established site so I wouldn't have to wait the whole year for Google, but most people do fine by just starting from scratch so it does depend.

dude, how long does it take to get you more than $50 each months ? Because I just started using AdSense week ago, Some said that first 2 months you will get very few clicks...
Here is my info: Monthly income $12,000 Visitors 1.2 million # of domains = 6 Been in business = about four years Employees 2 full time and one part time
$1000 a month is pretty good. How long does it take to reach? Thank's good. I heard of a lot of cases that when it gets to that the level, it gets hard to get expenses down. Are you finding that to be true?
At this level.. I think you would need to start hiring people. If what this guy said is true, I guess you could estimate with a 100,000 visits a month you could make around or near $1000 a month..
Here is my info: Monthly income $1,500 -$2,000 Domains = 3 Been in business = about two years Employees: me About 70% income form Google ads Slowly getting away from the big G but it ain't easy.
Had a one page wonder that did $2k a month last year but now I make around $200 a month from my main site. I want my one page wonder back!
