No, we were talking practical limits. When you start discussing "approaching infinity", then you are bringing in limits that cannot be reached practically. Long, long before that, you would hit the computational limits of the computers themselves, or the memory needed to store floating point numbers to that degree of accuracy.

When you say things like (and remember, he was joking) Google has "run out" of PageRank, then you are saying that there isn't enough PageRank to make a page PR10. This will never be the case. Yes, the number of PR10 pages will fluctuate, but regardless of whether the FP value used to determine a 10 is .00001 or .000000000000000000000000000001, it will still be enough.

Take this time to monetize your site in different and new ways. Look to adsense, adbrite, affilaite programs, direct sponsorships and even try to build your own site's traffic in creative ways.

Pagerank is an okay indicator, but good content and ranking for good keywords is where it's at.

I haven't seen any slight PR change for all my sites for a long time, though SERP positions do shift.
Invested much work and $$ and is being a bit disappointed by this "slowing down".
Anyways when it occurs the one who worked will be rewarded;)

Would you like to provide us with your reasons for thinking this? Most people tend to do so when making a bold statement.

Well...I have to ADMIT google research is not wayy better then Yahoo.

I mean I do not really care,, or I can CARE LESS what rank funtion they use
but when I search for Titanic Ship and they return 45 millions pages is hilarious.

And why? Because one page was about blood VESSELS and Heart attack, nothing to do with Titanic soo well the WORD TITANIC, yes I agree can be found in 45 miillions or billions of pages, like every other word (more or less 20 millions pages) but when it really comes to RELEVANCE this is...impossible to be done by STATIC searching you need an expert INTELIGGENT FUZZY NEURAL NETWORK to do it.

And unfortunatly besides the GOOGLE MAPS..is nothing here in Google so amazing (beside the speed of search and some own anguage sites for each country) that REALLY beat Yahoo.

And besides this YAHOO has Movie listing so I can pick my movie I wanna see today...and so on...so..

    it kinds of suck!!!

Yeah, those are nice, but the good ones cost more than $100,000 a year.

Now you're just quibbling. Sutoco had it pretty much correct from the beginning. Have the decency to admit it.

    Yes.

    More or less, yes.

I'm no mathematician but that doesn't sound correct to me.
