Best Tool to Check Ranking Position

What would be the best took to check the ranking position of a keyword for a specific site besides flipping through the pages manually ?

Is there a web based took?

iwebtool.com has one for up to the 10th page (100 sites).

This one was pretty good too, but it is primarily for google.se and doesn't reflect the US google.com site I don't think. It will work for up to 1000 results.

This tool requires a SOAP API Key from Google, which isn't available unless you already have it.

 

I personally use SEO Elite to track my rankings...allows me to track their progress over time, etc.

 

Just go for free monitor for google this is really nice tool.

I don't trust any tool for ranking, the best way to check your website rankings in search engines is manually visiting each page of search results and find out. This is the most trusted method of finding out positions in search results.

 

True.. but I've also tested it out with rankings to which I knew what the definite ranking was and it worked.
