What is the bin, traffic and revenue

 

how does the traffic work with arcade sites to they bring a lot in ic a lot of arcades on the net and just wondering if it is even worth getting into

 

Hi everyone, thanks for the continued interest in the sale of Boxed Arcade.

For traffic details for the site, check out the Arcade Stats page. The stats show back to May 2007 when I placed the site on my own hosting.

I do not have a buy it now in mind, am simply looking for offers based on Member base, Traffic, SE rankings etc.

The site has not been optimised for revenue as of yet so has a lot of potential. It does earn the odd $1 here and there through adsense and auction ads, but nothing major.

As stated above the potential of this site is its foundations of a good member base, exisitng traffic and SE rankings. With a little bit of work, it will no doubt start to bring the $'s in.

The site needs a little bit of time spent on it to add more games, market to the existing members, promote through other channels, something I am not able to do at present due to other committments, hence the sale of the site.

I am seeing a sharp decline in traffic for the month of September. Almost 1/4th of the previous months. May i know the reason??

 

I had trouble with the hosting, and didn't have the time to sort it until the end of the month.

This was the error message:

Wed Sep 26 12:01:06 2007] [error] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 41 bytes) in /home/boxedarc/public_html/api.php on line 34

Was simply the fact that the script needed a bit more processor to keep it running. Hosting provider increased memory limit for the script, restarted the Apache Daemon and all is well.

Hope this explains.

from what i can see site has had a boost and now is deing.

good luck with the sale would be intresting to see the stats as alexa is like at 2.2million
