Subscribers and adsense?

I feel that their should be a new option from adsense to reward subscribers to a blog. I have 138 subscribers and i practically make no money from them because every time i make a new post they automatically get sent the post through email.

What should i do?

Ehm, thats a goodo one adsense for feeds. Hope you can learn something from that site.

 

Adsense for Feeds and feedburner FAN will be merged as one program. It will take another 6-8 months for that anyways. Till then FAN looks good.

 

You might find some success if you encourage your readers to visit your blog and leave comments. (so they will see your ads)

Gostats have you ever used Ads in Feeds? They are not really targetted ads since its like ad inventory bought by a publisher. The ads are however targetted based on broad topic.

For my 5400+ subscribers, everyday more tha n 4000 people visit the blog. So ads dont really interfere in getting pageviews.

 

i found that feedburner isnt that great since if i run my own rss feeds i can do anything i want to them. the only thing "great" about feedburer is that you can post a ticker or whatever that shows how many people subscribe.

 

Whats there in your feed service which isnt available in Feedburner?

By the way, a trivia for you: If you use feeds on your site, it consumes bandwidth unlike you outsource it to feedburner saving BW and lot of other issues which it might cause.

 

Yes, good content is always a great feed for the search engines.

 

What I mean is that you should encourage more viewer participation to bring your readers from your feed into your blog pages where your targeted ads are. (Like ask them to leave a comments - or point out the discussion in the comments, etc...
