    Maybe someone can just start a thread in the marketing portion of the site.. I don't think this would be popular enough to create a whole category on it's own...

    Nice idea though:)

    Maybe if this was a "news" forum that would be great

    BUT - the fact that this is a webmaster forum and places like prwire exist make me think this is not the best idea

    Plus you probably will get a better response from your press release if you actually "release" it to the wire NOT a webmaster forum :)

    Also, why would DP want to encourage a huge thread or forum area full of nothing but duplicate content? Certainly you're not suggesting everyone post here first... that would just be stupid in a promotional sense.

    It is a bad idea. New members will abuse it and advertise rather than use it for news.

    It will give moderators an even harder time managing the forums.
