Hi guys i dont know this is correct section or not but i dint found any suitable section for it so iam posting it here mods can move it What is the meaning of niche? i found in many posts people says wht is your niche but wat it actually means??
It means what topic your site is about. Such as a dating site would have a niche of dating. Paint ball related sites would have a niche of paint balling.
It's the topic you concentrate on, so you don't go over the map. For example, if your niche is golfing, you want golf readers. So you should write only about golf, and not go off topic (too often) because it might get your readers bored.

sometimes it is easier to understand things from members than websites. members clarify things and use less technical terms and that helps the beginners very much
It means a specialist product or service which you have access to or provide to others. We set up our own Minibus Insurance Brokerage a couple of years ago and at the time it was a 'Niche market', now everyone does it but no competition is boring lol!!
