How can I get higher position in yahoo search ?

    In my location, Most user use yahoo search to find information.
    But the website is located outside the first 10 search pages.
    How can I get higher position in yahoo search ?
    Any tips ?
    Or anything I can do ?
    I have much time to do basic SEO work.
    I want yahoo SERP !

    One of the important factors to get a good Yahoo ranking is the on-page optimization (everything within the web page - title, headers, anchor texts, alt tags, etc.)

    For some reason Yahoo doesn't crawl my site very often. It took Yahoo 4 months just to change the title of my site. That's when they updated their cache. Google seems to do it once a week or so.

    In yahoo content is a king they give high value in contents than links. But they still use different criteria in ranking a site.
