if an army complete with tanks and advanced weaponry made incursions into your hometown in america what would you do? i am not in favour of people becoming suicide bombers, but is anyone born wanting only to blow themselves up in life, i don't think so, given the same opportunities people aspire to the same things. but desperation breeds desperate measures. nobody should take life, but faced with the military might of israel pointing your way, what would you do? run or fight back? we are all the same, palestinians are not from another planet, neither are jews, in fact originally they are from the same semitic tribe. taking sides is what happens at school, so why don't we try to act like grown ups for a change.

yes the palestinians need to stop firing at israel, but equally israel need to stop bulldozing palestinian territories, killling innocent palestinians - and by that i mean ordinary men women and children, for many of those killed by israeli forces are children - and to stop settlers settling on agreed palestinian land. it is only circumstances that create terrorism, people are not by nature more inclined towards it. remove the circumstances and you remove terrorism. the only way to solve the israeli problem is to get everyone, even those regarded as terrorists around the negotiating table and hammering it out. taking sides is only exacerbating and prolonging the conflict.
