Easy $10 Header Background

I would like a header background similar in style to the ones shown here: LINK

Basically, fading diagonal stripes, but not as thick as the ones on the above page. I'm not sure what style of fade would look better with my logo (dark top to light bottom, or light top to dark bottom), so I would like submissions to include both. The header width should be 900 pixels, with no borders.

I would then like my logo super-imposed over it. My logo can be downloaded here:

The current design of the header and site can be found here: http://s211904495.onlinehome.us/temp. The two colours of purple used, if one should wish to use them, are #9999FF and #6F55FF.

If someone can design what I'm looking for, it's a quick and easy $10. Contest ends when I find a winner, or I say it's over.

I personally prefer the bottom one because the reflection of the words can be seen
