117 to 6 pages index over night!!??

117 to 6 pages index over night!!?? anyone notice a drop in indexed pages with msn??

 

Checked today there is 9 msn bots on my site never had that before

 

I get better indexing from MSN then either Google or Yahoo. This is one of their pluses sorry i cannot say same for their PPC service Microsoft Ad Center which sucks real bad.

 

Blame yourself for not doing good SEO, dont blame msn....

 

Actually I have like 11,000 pages in Google and my site was never indexed in MSN at all, then today I see they indexed 2 pages Neither of which was the home page.

 

Wow... I just checked the indexed pages for my blog http://www.minterest.com/... I see that MSN have some 147 pages... well actually my site was indexed earlier when I launched that site.... then back in august I redesigned my site and changed all the contents and msn was still showing my old content and then when i checked couple of weeks back MSN have 0 pages....of my site now its fully indexed.... COOL

 

Maybe thats what happened to me then I have been testing colours and layouts over the past 2 weeks its probley starting over again. I have had 10 msn bots every day since the drop and I used to have 1 or 2 a day

 

can i ask how u check to see how many indexed pages u have in msn

My website had about 28 pages indexed but now there are only 2, well I read in a help forum that this is happened to a lot of websites since MSN is now using the Algorithm similar to that of yahoo and this will be sorted out soon. Just resubmit a few of the website pages that have a few internal links and this should speed things up!!

Atleast, this is what i am trying now!

 

It seems to be reindexing the pages now 9 pages so far

It has jumped to 231 pages indexed never had this much maybe they are finaly making their bots more aggressive I have had 10 -13 bots on my site at anyone time the last few days.


Anuone notice a change in msn bots and how many pages are indexed?

 

I have found MSN to be a bit flaky myself. I think they are still tweaking it a lot.
