How much do you think www.Tawny-Kitaen.com is worth?

Tawny Kitaen is the model/actress who was popular in the 1980's and is best known for her appearances in Whitesnake Music Videos and more recently in VH1's 'Surreal Life.'

Last time I checked, it had PR2. There are about 500 backlinks. The domain was first registered in 2006.

 

Not sure, but I would be careful about violating Google's terms of service for Adsense by cutting off "Ads by Google" on the bottom, whether on purpose or not. Just a heads-up.

 

If she's famous its probably a trademark violation so I doubt you can get more than reg-fee for it..

 

So I'm not allowed to have a fansite for a celebrity with their domain name?

So the general consensus is that the domain is worthless?

 

A guy who made a fansite about Nelly Furtado, (using the full name in the domain), got into deep troubles with the record label. At the end he was lucky and his lawyer got him out of that. But he had to give them the domain.

So I'd be careful...

 

I kinda wonder what sort of laws would justify that. For instance, www.britney-spears.com is owned by her record label... it's just some crap site.

 

It's silly that they (eventually) make such a big deal of it, because all you're doing is free advertising for them.
